Meet the Girls Behind HNO MANOR

Gabrielle knows what she likes. Asked which HNO MANOR look feels most like her, she chooses Punk Princess without hesitation. Her own wardrobe offers a fairly convincing explanation: mostly black, with a fondness for low rise cuts, leopard print, leather, and lace. She loves spikes and studs, considers eyeliner practically essential, and would happily revisit the fashion of 2003 to 2009.
“I love the messiness and the imperfection of 2000’s fashion,” she says. “That’s what made it so hot and so fun.”
It’s a telling answer from someone who describes her style as a combination of everything she’s ever loved. Gabrielle draws from emo, McBling, and gothic Y2K, allowing those influences to sit together in a wardrobe that feels personal. What interests her is the freedom to be expressive, and perhaps a little excessive, without having to make everything agree.
Beyond the Photographs
Born and raised in California, Gabrielle is 24 and works as a phlebotomist. Outside of modeling, she sews, practices yoga, and enjoys anime and video games. She loves science, animals, and being in nature, and has a pet snake.
She also describes herself as spiritual. “I love to look for the beauty in everything,” she says.
When asked about her personality, she calls herself soft, dreamy, and introspective, though she’s equally happy having fun and being a little wild. Whether you meet the quieter Gabrielle or the loudest person in the room rather depends on the day. She considers herself an ambivert, comfortable with both.
Making things is another important part of her life. She speaks about artistic creation as a way of bringing beauty and love into the world, an interest she’s continuing to develop through clothing, accessories, and photography.
Finding Her Way to the Manor
Gabrielle first got in touch after seeing an HNO MANOR Instagram story asking who would be interested in modeling. She replied, we invited her to a shoot, and the relationship grew from there!
She remembers her first outfit clearly: a purple dress worn with black heels. Just as memorable was getting to meet the other girls.
“It was such a fun and cute experience,” she recalls. “I loved meeting and hanging out with the other girls at the shoot.”
That social side of modeling comes up often in her answers. While the finished photographs are what everyone sees, the time spent together matters to her just as much.
A Day With the Manor Girls
Her favorite memory began when she arrived on set and discovered that a couple of her friends had also been booked for the shoot. They spent the day working together, then continued hanging out after it was over.
“HNO shoots always end up being a cute girls day.”
There’s an affection in the way she describes those days that we’re glad to hear. Having a familiar face in the room can make a shoot feel more relaxed, and in Gabrielle’s case, the friendships are part of what she remembers most!
As for the clothes themselves, her answer is considerably less sentimental. Wearing HNO MANOR makes her feel “sexy, confident, and cunt.”
In Her Own Words
Of the Manor’s signature obsessions, Gabrielle chooses fur. Punk Princess remains her favorite look, and she’s currently working on creating more clothes and accessories, along with new photoshoots she’s excited to share.
Before wrapping up, we asked what being a Manor Girl means to her.
“It means to believe in yourself and to never forget ur that b**ch.”
